When multiplying, add like powers

$$ 2xy^2 \times 3x \times x^2y^3 = 6x^4y^5 $$

Inverse functions

An inverse function is a function that links its output value back to its input

$$ f(x) = f^{-1}(x) $$

$$ f(x) = 5x - 4 $$

$$ y = 5x - 4 $$

$$ \dfrac{x + 4}{5} = f^{-1}(x) $$

Inequalities on the number line

• When solving linear inequalities, when multiplying or dividing by a negative number, reverse the inequality sign
